This month, we shine the spotlight on the new owner of FJM, Jim Gleason.
As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. In September 2014, I became Owner and Managing Partner of Frank J. Muto Company, known as FJM.
Over the past four years, I’ve had the good fortune of building strong working relationships within the industry I serve. My past experience in Organizational Development and small business gives me a unique perspective and direction as a manufacturer’s representative. As FJM grows, our team grows…all in an effort to bring more value to our clients.
A lifelong NY state resident, I grew up in the Binghamton area and now live with my wife, Katie, and 3 children in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. I enjoy spending time with the family outdoors and being active in my kid’s activities. I’m also a big sports fan, rooting for the Mets, Sabres, Bills, and Syracuse Orange.
I am passionate about connecting with new people and ideas and am active in several professional organizations and networking groups. I am a founding member and past President of Toastmasters Peer 2 Peer club in Rochester, NY and was recently elected to serve as President of Empire State Chapter of the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA)
